An established regional firm seeks an accomplished Private Client Partner to lead and expand its Surrey private client practice. This is a senior leadership role for a commercial-minded lawyer with a proven track record of delivering exceptional technical advice, developing high-value client relationships and driving business growth.

You will shape the strategic direction of the department alongside Partners and the Deputy Head, setting standards for service, compliance and practice development. Day‑to‑day responsibilities include managing a complex portfolio, supervising and mentoring senior fee‑earners, securing and growing a referrer/client base, and contributing to firm-wide initiatives in business development, financial performance and operational governance.

The ideal candidate will be an experienced solicitor with demonstrable success at Partner or Senior Associate level, strong commercial awareness, and the confidence to handle referred work independently. You will be adept at delegation and at embedding efficient procedures and high standards of client care across the team. A collegiate leadership style and commitment to professional development and firm values are essential.

This role offers senior responsibility, visible influence on firm strategy and an opportunity to develop a thriving, client‑focused practice in Surrey. All applications will be treated confidentially.
