Our client is looking for a Private Client Paralegal

Client Details

Description
  • Assist solicitors in managing a caseload of private client matters from instruction through to completion.
  • Draft legal documents, including wills, LPAs, trust deeds, and estate administration papers.
  • Prepare inheritance tax forms and applications for grants of probate and letters of administration.
  • Conduct legal research and liaise with HMRC, the Probate Registry, and other third parties.
  • Maintain accurate file management and compliance with firm procedures and regulatory requirements.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, beneficiaries, executors, and other stakeholders.
  • Arrange client meetings, attend note‑taking, and assist with file opening and billing processes.
  • Support with the administration of trusts and estates, including asset collection, valuation, and distribution.
  • Contribute to business development activities and maintain client relationships.
Profile
  • Previous experience working in a Private Client department (essential).
  • Strong knowledge of wills, probate, LPAs, and trusts (essential).
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple files.
  • Competent IT skills, including familiarity with case management systems and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
