Essential Skills and Experience

• Previous paralegal experience in Private Client law (minimum 12 months preferred).
• Strong understanding of wills, probate, trusts and lasting powers of attorney.
• Confident drafting of standard legal documents with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Experience liaising with clients, courts and third parties in a professional and empathetic manner.

Role & Responsibilities

As a Private Client Paralegal, you will provide essential support to our solicitors and partners, ensuring smooth running of client files and excellent client care.

• Assisting with the drafting of wills, trusts and lasting powers of attorney.
• Preparing probate applications and assisting with estate administration.
• Conducting legal research and preparing supporting documentation.
• Liaising with clients, beneficiaries, HMRC and the Probate Registry.
• Maintaining accurate and up‑to‑date case records and documentation.
• Managing your own caseload of straightforward matters under supervision.
• Supporting solicitors with more complex cases and attending client meetings where required.
• Ensuring compliance with all regulatory and professional obligations.
