Job summary

Chadwick Nott seeks an experienced Private Client Locum Solicitor to support a busy Private Client team in Bristol on a hybrid basis. The role concentrates on probate and estate administration, with some trust work, wills and LPAs. You should be able to start immediately and handle a caseload with minimal supervision.

The position offers flexibility, a supportive environment and requires 3+ days per week with some in-office presence, ideally 1–2 days weekly.

Qualifications

• Strong non-contentious private client experience.
• Significant probate and estate administration experience.
• Knowledge of trust administration and related matters.
• Excellent client care and communication skills.
• Ability to hit the ground running and manage a caseload independently.

Responsibilities

• Managing probate and estate administration matters
• Advising executors, beneficiaries and families throughout the administration process
• Handling trust-related matters
• Drafting wills and Lasting Power of Attorney where required
• Providing practical and commercially focused advice
• Progressing files efficiently and maintaining high standards of client care
• Managing matters with minimal supervision
