Job summary

Law Staff is supporting a highly regarded private client practice seeking a Private Client Legal Assistant with at least 1 year’s experience in private client law. The role sits in the Wills and Probate team and offers hybrid working after probation, with a salary up to £35,000 per year.

You'll assist with preparing wills and probate documents, manage case files, and liaise with clients, solicitors, beneficiaries and third parties to ensure smooth case progression.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience in Private Client Law.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the preparation of legal documents relating to wills and probate matters.
• Maintaining and updating case files, ensuring all documentation is accurate, up to date, and all correspondence is properly recorded and saved.
• Liaising with clients, solicitors, beneficiaries, and other third parties to support the smooth progression of cases.
• Undertaking general administrative duties, including handling post, scanning documents, binding wills, and maintaining organised records.
