Job summary

ENL Legal Recruitment is seeking a Private Client Lawyer to join their West Yorkshire team. You will manage a broad and varied caseload covering wills, probate, trusts, estate administration, and lasting powers of attorney, delivering clear, practical advice to clients.

With at least 3 years’ PQE, strong technical knowledge, and excellent client communication, you will collaborate with experienced colleagues, enjoy a market‑leading salary and generous benefits, and have the flexibility to work

Qualifications

• At least 3 years’ PQE in private client work with broad caseloads.
• Strong knowledge across wills, probate, trusts and estate planning.
• Excellent communication and client care skills.
• STEP qualification highly advantageous; towards or equivalent experience encouraged.

Responsibilities

You will manage a broad and varied caseload of private client matters, advising clients on wills, probate, trusts, estate administration, lasting powers of attorney and wider succession planning matters. Working alongside experienced colleagues, you will deliver high‑quality legal advice while building strong, long‑term client relationships. The role offers genuine responsibility, exposure to complex private client work and the flexibility to be based from one of the firm’s three offices.

Qualifications and Skills

Applications are sought from Private Client Lawyers with at least 3 years’ experience managing a broad private client caseload. You will possess strong technical knowledge across wills, probate, trusts and estate planning matters, together with excellent communication and client care skills. STEP qualification would be highly advantageous, although candidates working towards the qualification or with equivalent experience are also encouraged to apply. The successful candidate will be commercially aware, proactive and committed to delivering exceptional client service while contributing to the continued success of a highly regarded team.
