Private Client Investment Management Trainee. To £32,000

This role is newly created due to the continued growth of this well established and highly regarded niche investment management organisation. The firm are looking for highly numerate candidates with excellent interpersonal and client relationship management skills. Candidates with strong A levels would be considered although a degree in a business, finance or numerate discipline would be preferred. The role will be office based in the City of London.

Duties
  • Assist a small group of Client Directors with all aspects of their day-to-day management of their HNWI clients.
  • Utilise internal systems and collaborate with colleagues across the group to action instructions received from clients.
  • Ensure instructions and interactions with clients are recorded and filed correctly.
  • Attend meetings with clients alongside Directors to build knowledge and rapport with clients.
  • Send communications to clients, via letter and email.
  • Liaise with third parties, including investment managers, banks and personal accountants, to resolve queries or elevate them to the relevant Director as necessary.
  • Interpret data, provide calculations and produce reports and explanations for clients.
  • Work closely with the members of the Private Client team, making an active contribution, learning from others in the team about how their clients invest in the market to be able to deliver a high-quality client service.
  • Ensure the necessary learning, including continuing professional development, is achieved and maintained.
  • Develop and maintain the key competencies required for the role and attain the necessary regulatory status under the Senior Managers and Certification Regime in order to advise clients.
