Job summary

G2 Legal Limited is assisting a well-established South West law firm in Taunton/Tiverton to recruit a Private Client Fee Earner. The role involves managing a private client caseload including probate, trusts, wills and Court of Protection matters, with a path to leadership within a large private client team.

You’ll have at least 1 year of private client experience, be comfortable running your own caseload, and benefit from flexible/hybrid working, supportive culture, and a competitive salary up

Responsibilities

• Manage a private client caseload (sometimes complex).
• Handle probate and estate administration, trusts and wills.
• Oversee Court of Protection matters when required.
• Be the point of contact for complex estates and trusts.
• Assist Head of Department with workflow and team oversight.
• Collaborate with colleagues to drive progress and growth.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing aprivate client caseload (sometimes complex)including:
• Probate and estate administration
• Trusts and trust structuring
• Wills and estate planning
• Court of Protection matters where required
• Acting aspoint of contact for complex estates and trusts
• Supporting theHead of Departmentwith team oversight and workflow management if appropriate
• Working collaboratively

About You

• You’ll be an experienced private client fee earner used to running your own caseload
• Minimum 1years’ experiencein private client law , possibly as a paralegal or fee earner (strong experience is more important than title)
• Proven ability to manageprivate client matters
• Open to taking onleadership or departmental responsibilitiesas the role develops
