Private Client and Conveyancing Lawyer – Specialist Drafter

Fully Remote | Full-time or Part-time | Up to £60,000

A reputable and forward‑thinking legal group specialising in estate planning, wills, trusts, probate, and conveyancing is seeking an experienced Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to join their growing team as a Specialist Drafter. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys high‑quality technical work and wants genuine flexibility, autonomy, and long‑term progression.

The Opportunity

You will support private client and conveyancing teams across the group, focusing on drafting a full range of specialist lifetime trust and estate planning documents. Working with industry‑recognised, regularly updated precedents, you’ll deliver bespoke, client‑focused solutions while managing a varied and intellectually engaging workload.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drafting trusts and associated documents, including Deeds of Variation, Deeds of Appointment, Retirement and Appointment of New Trustees, Indemnities, and Disclaimers
  • Managing a number of complex, technical drafting matters simultaneously
  • Assisting with a small caseload of conveyancing files where needed (experience beneficial but not essential)
  • Working collaboratively with wills, trusts, conveyancing, and probate teams
  • Ensuring accuracy and attention to detail across all documentation
About You
  • 5+ years’ PQE in private client or property work (required)
  • Strong experience and confidence in trust work and complex drafting
  • Background in wills, probate, conveyancing, or estate administration advantageous
  • STEP qualification or similar specialist credentials preferred
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple matters
  • Detail‑driven, proactive, and committed to high‑quality work
  • Conveyancing experience helpful but not essential
