A leading Optical and Hearing firm is seeking a Registered Hearing Aid Dispenser or Audiologist for a home-based role in Eastleigh, UK. The position offers a salary up to £50,000 annually, along with a company car, private medical insurance, and a flexible working environment. Ideal candidates are HCPC registered and have a sympathetic approach towards patients, many of whom may be elderly or have dementia. Weekends off are guaranteed.

Overview

Private Registered Hearing Aid Dispenser or Audiologist – Southampton, Hampshire. My Client who is a leading Optical and Hearing Domiciliary Company is looking to recruit full or part time Registered Hearing Aid Dispenser or Audiologist for a role within Southampton and surrounding areas. This is a Monday to Friday role (or part time will be a minimum of 3 days a week), no weekends required and they will be flexible on the days. The role will involve visiting patients in their own homes; testing patients with hearing difficulties, establishing whether they can be aided by amplified sound, delivering, fitting and adjusting aids and in addition you will carry out aftercare home visits.

  • Test patients with hearing difficulties and establish whether they can be aided by amplified sound.
  • Deliver, fit and adjust hearing aids.
  • Carry out aftercare home visits.
Qualifications and Requirements
  • HCPC registered (Health and Care Professions Council).
  • Sympathetic approach and empathy, as some patients will be elderly and frail and some may suffer from dementia.
  • Confident driver and enjoy being out on the road.
