Are you ready to take on a career where every day is a chance to change lives? We are looking for dedicated, resilient, and motivated individuals to join us as Prison Offender Managers, a role that goes beyond supervision to truly rehabilitate, support, and transform lives.
HMP Fosse Way is one of the newest prisons in the UK, specifically designed to prioritize education, training, and employment opportunities for prisoners upon their release. Our ultimate goal is to equip inmates with new skills and qualifications that will enable them to secure meaningful employment in key industries upon reintegration into society. As a Prison Offender Manager, you will play a vital role in supporting this mission, helping offenders build a better future for themselves and reducing reoffending rates.
This is a rewarding career where you will work in a dynamic environment where no two days are the same. You will build meaningful professional relationships with both prisoners and staff while collaborating with agencies and specialists to ensure effective rehabilitation.
Your responsibilities will include assessing and managing high‑risk offenders, developing and implementing effective sentence plans, and supporting probation officers in managing high‑risk cases. You will also attend parole hearings, conduct risk assessments, and contribute to offender management meetings. A key part of your role will be encouraging prisoners to engage in education and rehabilitation programmes, helping them gain the skills they need to successfully reintegrate into society.
This role offers a Monday to Friday schedule with flexible shift patterns, as well as the need to work occasional bank holidays.
This is a non‑operational role with regular prisoner‑facing responsibilities. If you are ready to take on a challenging yet highly rewarding career, apply now and be part of a team that is shaping the future of rehabilitation and reducing reoffending in the UK.
All candidates are subject to security and identity checks prior to taking up post.
