Job summary

Hmp Stocken is seeking a Cleaner to perform a broad range of cleaning tasks across the facility, including vacuuming, dusting, bin emptying, polishing surfaces and mopping as needed.

Role requires prison clearance (up to 8 weeks) and a passport or driving licence for clearance; work is 39 hours per week at £13.69 per hour. We value reliability, punctuality and teamwork, with a focus on safety and compliance with colour-coded equipment rules.

Qualifications

• Passport or photo driving licence required for prison clearance.
• Experience handling chemicals and machinery safely.
• Reliability, punctuality and teamwork expected.
• Compliance with safety and site rules and colour-coded equipment.

Responsibilities

• Provide cleaning services to meet contractual commitments.
• Vacuum, dust, empty bins, polish surfaces and mop as required.
• Operate machinery safely according to guidelines and training.
• Report issues to supervisor promptly and complete duties within time per shift.
