Deliver high-quality clinical care within the Integrated Prison Healthcare Service, including acute care, primary care, and long-term condition management
Undertake clinical triage, medication administration, and nurse-led clinics
Provide emergency medical responses when required
Manage a complex clinical caseload while supporting effective service delivery
Ensure clinics and consultations meet national standards for healthcare in prisons
Apply evidence-based nursing practice to support safe and effective care delivery
Participate in service development, audit, and research activity where appropriate
Work collaboratively with healthcare professionals, prison staff, and external agencies
Support, mentor, and supervise junior nursing staff, contributing to training and appraisal processes
Registered General Nurse (RGN) with valid NMC registration
Experience delivering primary care and acute nursing interventions
Strong understanding of evidence-based nursing practice
Ability to manage complex clinical situations independently
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
