Qualifications

  • Experience of working to agreed targets.
  • PC literate and good communication skills.
  • MHE Licence (where applicable) is desired.
  • Understanding of warehouse practices e.g. picking, loading.
  • Reliable and committed to attending work on time.
  • High attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.

Responsibilities

  • Manage end‑to‑end warehousing operations.
  • Pick and pack items in designated areas.
  • Operate Warehouse Management Systems to manage inventory.
  • Load and unload vehicles and process returns.
  • Contribute towards continuous improvement projects.

Job description

It's more than a job. As a Contract Logistics Specialist at Kuehne+Nagel, you will manage end‑to‑end warehousing operations for our customers.

Responsibilities
  • Operate to trained work instructions e.g. ABC Modules/WI
  • Adhere to company standards as detailed in the Code of Conduct Policy
  • Picking and packing in both DFC and Main site
  • Operating Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
  • Escalations and system investigation
  • Loading and unloading of vehicles
  • Booking of transport/couriers, processing returns and missed collections
  • System monitoring and data entry
  • Completing and filing documentation
  • Customer service
  • Use of MHE where required
  • Actively contribute towards continuous improvement projects and ideas
  • Comply with all instructed Safe Working Practices including reporting of all accidents/incidents
Qualifications
  • Experience of working to agreed targets
  • PC literate
  • MHE Licence (where applicable)
  • Understanding of warehouse practices e.g. picking, loading
  • Ability to work individually or as part of a team
  • Highlight/escalate anything not in line with policy and procedure both physically and systemically
