We’re looking for an experienced Print Production Project Manager with a strong background in 2D and 3D POS to join a leading integrated, creative and production agency, managing the delivery of a really varied range of print production projects. This is a hands‑on production role, covering everything from flat 2D print through to 3D cardboard POS and FSDU’s, with plenty of variety across the projects you’ll manage. You could be working on retail promotional displays for major supermarkets, supporting the production of new product launches, or coordinating smaller projects including all manner of 2D graphics and print through to competition winner kits, bags, keyrings and other promotional items.

You’ll take ownership of the production process from brief through to delivery, from cutters and artwork, working closely with print and production suppliers to make sure everything is produced to the right quality, specification, cost and deadline. You may also visit suppliers to QC finished work, oversee testing, weight-test units or check that a physical solution works as intended. You’ll work closely with colleagues in the Account Management team, who will manage the relationship with the end client, allowing you to focus on what you do best - production, suppliers, costs, timelines and getting the work delivered properly and to the best possible standard.

What you'll do:
  • Manage print and POS projects from production brief through to final delivery
  • Oversee the procurement, production and delivery of 2D print and 3D POS projects
  • Work with a broad network of print and production suppliers to source the right solutions
  • Manage costs, estimates, schedules and supplier negotiations to ensure projects are delivered efficiently
  • Monitor production timelines and proactively resolve any issues that could impact delivery
  • Visit suppliers where required to QC production, oversee testing and check physical units
  • Work closely with Account Management to keep projects moving and ensure they have accurate project updates
  • Manage project administration including timesheets, invoicing, procurement systems and general project housekeeping
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently and make sure everything is delivered to the required quality, cost and deadline
  • Look for opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs and increase efficiency across projects
What we're looking for:
  • Strong hands‑on production/project management experience within an agency, manufacturing or production environment
  • Solid experience across print and POS
  • Comfortable managing suppliers, negotiating costs and coordinating production schedules
  • Strong understanding of the practicalities of getting physical creative produced
  • Excellent organisational, prioritisation and project management skills
  • Commercially minded, with a good understanding of costs, margins and budgets
  • Strong attention to detail and a real focus on quality
  • Confident communicator who enjoys working collaboratively with Account Management and production teams
  • Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, high‑energy environment with multiple projects running simultaneously
  • Strong Excel/MS Office and Google Suite skills
  • Experience across 3D cardboard POS, FSDUs, shippers or retail display units
  • Experience working with major print production suppliers
  • Experience visiting suppliers to manage QC, testing or production sign‑off
  • Experience within retail, FMCG, beauty or consumer brands

This is a great opportunity for a hands‑on Print Production / Project Manager who wants to work on a really varied mix of physical creative. You’ll be working on high profile output for major retail environments, and work within a fun, talented and collaborative production team. The role is Northampton based, with 2+ days per week in the office and more expected during the probation period whilst bedding into the role.
