Job summary

Eurostampa UK is seeking a Print Assistant to join our Cumbernauld site on a permanent basis. You will prepare the printing press for jobs, support the printer to ensure high-quality label outputs, and assist with setup and maintenance tasks.

The role requires hands-on work and the ability to adapt to changing priorities. Having experience in a print production environment and strong numeracy and literacy skills will help you succeed.

Qualifications

• Experience working in a print based production environment.
• Proficient in numeracy & literacy.
• Flexible approach to changing work priorities and deadlines.
• Ability to work on own initiative & collectively as part of a crew.

Responsibilities

• Make ready the press for jobs, checking all elements (paper, ink, plates, rollers) are correct and in place.
• Assist the printer on press to ensure labels are printed to the highest quality.
• Prepare materials for set up of new jobs to minimise downtime.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues to keep the printing press running smoothly.
• Fit printing plates to the machine and ensure alignment.
• Maintain a clean and safe working area; support regular machine maintenance.
