Overview

Position: Print Planning and Office Manager
Contract Type: Permanent
Location: Edenbridge

Salary: Circa £35,000 per annum (negotiable based on experience) + Bonus + Excellent Benefits package including generous holiday allowance, Private Healthcare, Pension, Parking, Income protection +++

Working Hours: Monday - Friday, 9-5.30pm, 1 hr lunch - Office Based

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily management of sales orders, planning, and print production to ensure efficiency and productivity.
  • Monitor performance and provide support to production staff, fostering a team-oriented atmosphere.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures that comply with company regulations.
  • Conduct regular team meetings to communicate goals, expectations, and updates.
  • Provide daily/weekly financial and productivity reports to the Business Manager.
  • Manage production schedules to meet customer deadlines efficiently.
  • Determine material, equipment, and labour requirements, ensuring optimal resource use.
  • Order consumables and maintain strict stock control.
  • Resolve production issues swiftly to minimise disruptions.
  • Oversee quality control, ensuring product standards are consistently met.
  • Liaise with Account Managers & Sales Teams to advise on order status and product delivery.

  • A proven ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Strong customer service skills with a professional and approachable demeanour.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred; experience in Print or Packaging is beneficial but not essential (full training provided).
  • A self-motivated individual who can work independently as well as part of a team.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines in a high-pressure environment.
