Acorn by Synergie is recruiting a Print Manager with ink or print-based experience to join a manufacturing company based in Mold, North Wales. This role is based on-site and involves supporting ink production and providing hands‑on technical assistance.

Introduction

Acorn by Synergie is seeking an experienced Print Manager to work at a client's manufacturing site in Mold. The successful candidate will oversee ink production, ensure smooth daily operations, and provide technical and colour support for press activities.

Key Duties

• Dispensing ink in line with daily production plans.
• Placing press returns in clearly marked locations and clustering into common running colours.
• Placing weekly material orders using the provided order form.
• Filing delivery notes for month-end consignment stock counts.
• Booking new deliveries and replenishing materials on the dispense management system.
• Ensuring the ink area complies with hygiene accreditation standards.
• Supporting onsite colour correction and troubleshooting on press.
• Attending daily production meetings.
• Supporting press and customer trials.
• Providing colour matchings within agreed timeframes.
• Producing monthly KPI reports.
• Maintaining colour measurement equipment.

Requirements

• Good colour vision and strong attention to detail.
• Previous experience in ink, print, or colour management within manufacturing.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Ability to perform daily duties independently with minimal supervision.
• Flexible approach to working alternating shifts.
