Job summary

A recruitment agency in Hersham is looking for an experienced individual to oversee print and embroidery activities. You will plan workflows, manage seasonal staff, and ensure production accuracy. A strong competency in Adobe Illustrator is essential, alongside skills in DTF printing and embroidery machinery. A full UK driving licence is required for occasional driving. Job description
Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee all print and embroidery activities and team members
  • Plan and structure workflow throughout the year, including bulk DTF transfer production in quiet periods
  • Manage and train seasonal staff during peak periods
  • Operate, maintain, and clean machinery
  • Oversee use of the Plotter (vinyl transfer machine)
  • Support embroidery production, including operating and overseeing the embroidery machine
  • Inspect products for accuracy, detect and correct stitching or production defects, and regulate machine settings
  • Design & File Management
  • Liaise with external screen printers to coordinate weekly job flows
  • Work closely with the Order Fulfilment team to ensure customer requirements are met
  • Provide guidance on logo size, placement, and design feasibility
  • Order supplies
  • Drive the Company van as required
Experience & Skills Required
  • Strong competency in Adobe Illustrator (essential)
  • Previous experience with DTF printing, plotters, or embroidery machinery is advantageous (full training is provided)
  • Excellent attention to detail and a proactive, problem‑solving mindset
  • Ability to work well under pressure, particularly during peak seasons
  • Strong organisational and workflow management skills
  • Full UK driving licence (required for occasional van driving)
