Job summary

Computerworld Personnel Ltd in Stevenage is seeking a Principle Systems Engineer to take technical ownership of a brand new physical system. This role requires proven ability to define system requirements and architecture from first principles.

You will act as the senior technical authority on a complex programme, lead multidisciplinary design, integration and verification, and engage with customers and stakeholders. Some UK travel and occasional international travel are required.

Qualifications

• Experience owning system requirements, architecture and technical delivery.
• Experience working in or with the defense industry.
• Strong systems engineering background in complex products or platforms.
• Proven integration, test and qualification experience.
• Ability to solve multidisciplinary engineering problems.
• Experience leading suppliers, partners or subcontractors.
• Confident engaging customers and senior stakeholders.
