Job summary

Ernest Gordon Recruitment Limited is partnering with a UK-based specialist consultancy to appoint a Principle Structural Engineer (progression to Associate) in Liverpool. You will oversee major projects, guide a team of engineers, and support chartership development while benefiting from hybrid working and clear progression.

The role focuses on structural analysis, design development in AutoCAD, Tekla and Revit, and producing reports.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Principal Structural Engineer or equivalent with oversight of complex projects.
• Ability to lead and mentor a team of engineers across multiple sectors.
• Strong skills in structural analysis and delivering design drawings.

Responsibilities

• Lead diverse, complex structural projects from concept to delivery.
• Develop designs and drawings within AutoCAD, Tekla and Revit.
• Prepare technical documents and reports for clients and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior engineers and oversee project delivery.
• Occasional travel to client sites; participate in hybrid working arrangements.

Are you a Principle Structural Engineer looking to join a rapidly growing specialist consultancy, with multiple offices across the UK, in an autonomous and technically invigorating position where you will oversee all aspects of major projects, in a wide variety of sectors?

Are you wanting to join a company that invest in its employees, offering scope for progression into an Associate position, alongside dedicated support towards achieving Chartership?

In this role, you will be responsible for leading a diverse range of complex structural engineering projects across multiple sectors, overseeing projects from concept through to completion. You will manage a team of Engineers, providing guidance and mentorship, whilst overseeing project delivery.

This company has been established for nearly 60 years and has recently undergone an exciting transitional period; they are leading UK consultancy, operating across 6 UK sites, and aim to replicate year-on-year success and continue to grow. Offering premium civil and structural services, they work on technically complex and varied projects across a multitude of sectors.

This role would suit a Principle Structural Engineer, looking for an opportunity to bolster their career within a specialist consultancy, looking to invest in their development offering a wide scope of progression, ongoing training, and a chance to work on interesting Civil/Structural projects.

The Role:

• Structural analysis and calculations
