A leading technology firm in the UK is seeking a Principal Experience Designer to enhance visualization products. This role involves driving UX strategy, collaborating across teams, and mentoring designers. The ideal candidate has 5-7 years of UX design experience, particularly in SaaS, alongside strong communication skills. Familiarity with design tools like Figma and an understanding of AEC workflows are essential. The position offers remote work flexibility, with an emphasis on innovation in user experience.

Our Visualization team is central to delivering modern, high‑fidelity experiences across web, mobile and desktop platforms. The Visualization Solutions group, within Autodesk’s AEC (Architecture, Engineering and Construction) platform org, is responsible for intuitive, powerful experiences that help professionals across industries visualize and collaborate effectively on complex projects. As Principal Experience Designer you will work on visualization capabilities and critical in‑product workflows that enable users to review models, manage design workflows and project processes and make informed decisions across web and mobile platforms. You will champion evidence‑based design, influence product strategy and lead design excellence while mentoring early‑to‑mid‑career designers and keeping the team focused on high‑value features. The role is based in the UK and can be predominantly remote; proximity to the engineering teams in Sheffield is a plus.
Salary is one part of Autodesk’s competitive compensation package. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location. In addition to base salaries, our compensation package may include annual cash bonuses, commissions for sales roles, stock grants and a comprehensive benefits package.
