Job summary

A leading engineering consultancy is seeking a Principal Traffic Engineer to lead projects in urban mobility within their Scotland team. The role involves managing innovative solutions for active travel and traffic engineering while collaborating with multidisciplinary teams. Ideal candidates will have relevant degrees and experience in traffic engineering, with proficiency in design and modelling software like AutoCAD and LinSig. This position offers a hybrid working arrangement from Glasgow or Edinburgh, alongside a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

  • Degree qualified (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline (Engineering).
  • Experience in Traffic Engineering, particularly in an urban environment.
  • Experience in cycle priority and traffic signal design is desirable.
  • Ability to communicate with clients and manage tasks.
