Job summary

VerifyUs is seeking an experienced Principal Systems Engineer to lead the design, integration, testing, and delivery of complex engineering systems across the full lifecycle. You will coordinate across software, electronics and mechanical teams to ensure robust technical solutions and customer delivery.

In this role you will mentor engineers, manage technical risks, produce specifications and reports, and support design reviews.

Qualifications

• Experience leading systems engineering projects across full lifecycle.
• Background in aerospace, defence, electronics, automotive or other complex environments.
• Knowledge of system testing, verification, and engineering processes.
• Desirable familiarity with electronics, communications protocols, or embedded systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead systems design, integration, verification, and testing activities.
• Support projects through the full engineering lifecycle.
• Collaborate with software, electrical, and mechanical engineering teams.
• Manage technical risks and contribute to project delivery.
• Produce technical reports, specifications, and documentation.
• Support design reviews and mentor junior engineers.
• Communicate with internal teams, customers, and suppliers.
