General Dynamics Mission Systems is seeking a Principal Systems Engineer (Contractor) to deliver System Engineering expertise within the TacCIS domain for MoD programs and internal R&D. Responsibilities include elicitation, interface definition, design analysis, and supplier design reviews against EMC and climate requirements.

The role requires experience across the full lifecycle of large, complex systems, strong MBSE/SysML skills, and clear technical writing.

Qualificações

Experience in operating within a multi-discipline system engineering team.
Experience delivering across all phases of the engineering lifecycle.
Broad competence in systems engineering.
Experience resolving design challenges.
Experience with structured design methods.
Ability to create well-structured technical documents.
Excellent written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal communication skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Visio.
Ability to present at progress reviews with stakeholders.
Experience with requirements management and system design.
Experience with Model-Based Systems Engineering and SysML.
