The Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead is seeking a Principal Sustainable Transport Officer to lead the Highways Development Control team within the Infrastructure Planning function. The role focusses on strategic and operational management of highway schemes in planning processes, ensuring compliance and timely delivery.
You will coordinate with Planning, Highways and external consultants, advance Transport Assessments, and advise on legal agreements to secure infrastructure.
This is a full-time, permanent role with hybrid working, and a salary of £39,526 - £43,613 per annum.

Reporting to the Infrastructure Planning Manager, this role will lead on the strategic and operational management of the Highways Development Control Team in its role as the Highway Authority in the planning process and assess developer-led highway works proposals, to deliver corporate objectives and priorities.
