North East Combined Authority is seeking a specialist in property and property processes to join the Commercial Landlord Team. You will be a senior member of a team delivering the Council's Strategic Property Management service, ensuring proactive management of the estate and opportunities for rationalisation and disposal.
You will have a degree (or equivalent), MRICS with full membership, and a track record in valuations, estate management, acquisitions and lettings.
We are looking for an individual who has specialist knowledge of property and property processes and who has a professional, positive, enthusiastic and flexible approach to work to join our Commercial Landlord Team.
You will be a senior member of a team responsible for the delivery of the Council's Strategic Property Management service. This role will ensure pro‑active management of the Council's estate ensuring the efficient management, use and occupation of the estate and working with the wider team identifying opportunities for rationalisation and/or disposal.

You will need:
You will have experience of managing a range of property related functions and staff, including valuation, estate management, acquisitions, disposals, leasing/letting, covenants, compensation, and stakeholder management.
