Job summary

Pertemps in London is seeking an experienced structural engineer to lead projects and a design team while moving into a managerial oversight role.

You will be the main point of contact for third parties and will mentor junior team members, coordinating with contractors and architects, and liaising with clients. The role offers exposure to diverse projects from housing to major redevelopments.

Qualifications

• Requires a relevant degree in civil or structural engineering.
• Experience using industry standard software such as Fastrak, Tedds and Tekla.
• Strong understanding of the design process.
• Commercially astute, capable of leading projects.

Responsibilities

• Leading projects and a design team and acting as main point of contact for third parties.
• Directing and mentoring junior members of the design team.
• Communicating with contractors and architects.
• Liaising with clients and answering queries.
• Assuming greater responsibility toward senior management over time.
