Job summary

Aldwych Consulting is seeking a Principal Structural Engineer in London W1 for an established mid-sized practice focused on refurbishments, historic works and conservation projects. You will join a team of qualified engineers delivering detailed design and reporting on complex schemes, with an emphasis on problem solving and accurate documentation.

Ideally Chartered MIStructE or MICE holders, you will contribute to projects across commercial and residential sectors.

Principal Structural Engineer

London W1

Are you an experienced buildings structures engineer who would be keen to join an established London design consultancy with highly qualified individuals and an expert team?

This role could suit you!

Mid sized reputable and well established structural engineering firm, based in W1, are so busy with structural work that they need an additional team member. Ideally you will be Chartered MIStructE or MICE.

The firm specialise in all kinds of buildings design schemes, usually smaller or mid size complex refurbs, surveys, historic works, conservation schemes and London cut and carve projects. They are on many framework agreements with various repeat clients. The could also be the option for expert witness work if interested. The role would suit an engineer who loves the fiddly, problem solving type of engineering work and is happy to do some report writing as well as the design. Work is more refurb than new build.

Typically the firm are involved in commercial, residential, conservation, retail and many other buildings schemes, often working for big name clients.
