Job summary

A leading contract research organization is seeking a Principal Statistical Programmer to provide programming leadership for complex studies. This fully home-based role requires expertise in SAS, and a background in statistical programming. Candidates should have at least 8 years of experience and strong communication skills. Qualifications

  • Minimum of 8 years of Statistical Programming experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years study lead experience.
  • Good working knowledge of data structures e.g. CDISC, SDTM, ADaM.
  • Excellent knowledge of SAS essential; R advantageous.
  • Strong knowledge of data structures and CDISC SDTM/ADaM.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

  • Provide programming leadership for high complexity studies.
  • Act as a Lead programmer on multiple studies.
  • Perform quality control of others' work.
  • Oncology, Diabetes or Vaccines.
  • Independently perform quality control of other people work.

Job description

World leading CRO recently awarded Best Employer have a new opportunity for a Principal Statistical Programmer to join their FSP Team. You will be responsible for providing programming leadership for high complexity studies including effective resource planning, work allocation and progress tracking to ensure project timelines and quality targets are consistently achieved. This is a fully home-based role based in the UK, Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria or Romania.

What you will be doing:

  • Be assigned to a dedicated FSP Client.
  • Act as a Lead programmer on multiple studies of various complexities, ensuring quality and timely delivery.
  • Programming datasets, tables, figures and listings to ensure quality and accuracy.
  • Oncology, Diabetes or Vaccines.
  • Independently perform quality control of other people work.
  • Adhere to client SOPs and work on client systems.

What you will need:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in computer science, mathematics, statistics, data science/analytics, or other relevant scientific.
  • Minimum of 8 years Statistical Programming experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years study lead experience.
  • Excellent knowledge of SAS essential and other programming languages i.e., R advantageous.
  • Good working knowledge of data structures e.g. CDISC, SDTM, ADaM, software development lifecycle and their implementation.
  • Strong communication skills with a proactive nature and the ability to work as part of a team.
  • Be available on a short notice period.
  • Right to work in UK, Poland, Hungary, Bulgaria or Romania.
