Overview

A Glasgow based Financial Services Client is currently seeking another highly experienced Principal Solutions Architect to join an existing team, leading the design and delivery of enterprise-level cloud and infrastructure solutions across a busy business area. This is a strategic, hands-on role ideal for an experienced Senior Architect with deep technical expertise and strong stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture design across Azure, AWS, Salesforce, and SaaS platforms.
• Drive cloud-first strategies including IaaS, PaaS, and foundational services.
• Collaborate with global and regional teams to align deployments with enterprise standards.
• Represent infrastructure in solution design and governance forums.
• Produce detailed architecture documentation for implementation and operations.
• Communicate technical vision clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including C-suite

Required Skills & Experience

1. Proven experience working as a Principal Architect or Senior Solutions Architect, supporting IT architecture and cloud transformation programs.
2. Deep expertise across at least 2 or more of the following - Cloud (Public/Private), Infrastructure, Networking, Security, SaaS, Virtualization, Storage, ideally with a focus on Cloud
3. Strong understanding of service integration, application architecture, and SaaS implementation.
4. Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills is a MUST as always
