Principal Software Engineer 37027

Start date: ASAP

Duration: 11 months

Location: 1 week in office and 3 weeks from home - 1 Waterside, Kingswood Ave, Dublin Ireland

Rate: €450 - €490 per day

The Expertise We're Looking For

• You care about doing excellent work with excellent people.
• You are experienced with a variety of modern programming languages and frameworks. 5+ years of experience working with Java, Angular, Springboot, AWS Services, Kubernetes, AWS - EKS.
• You have hands-on technical leadership experience leading and mentoring scrum teams focused on building software solutions for business critical, architecturally distributed experiences.
• You are experienced architecting and producing technical designs and solutions and working with squad members to break these down into deliverable pieces of work.
• You have strong communication skills and technical expertise to drive and influence in meaningful discussions with partners across business and architecture.

Application design & development experience across the following

• SQL DB
• Java Springboot
• AWS Cloud
• Experience with build, continuous integration and delivery (CI/CD) processes and tools (e.g. Git, Jenkins, etc.)
• Experience with UI technologies (Angular, Javascript or other UI framework)
• Experience of Agile development practices and the value they bring to development teams
• Proven ability to collaborate with technical and business stakeholders
