iO Associates is recruiting a Senior/Principal Security Architect to design, assure and deliver secure solutions for complex defence environments. The role offers a hybrid working model with 2 days on site and opportunities for professional development.

You will work with customers and multidisciplinary teams, guiding architecture throughout the system lifecycle and ensuring Secure by Design across projects.

Qualifications

• Experience designing secure architectures for complex IT/defence environments.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and ability to translate business needs into secure solutions.
• Certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA, CIISec are desirable.

Salary: £55,000 - £95,000 + Car Allowance + 10% Bonus + Excellent Benefits

Are you an experienced Security Architect looking to work on some of the UK's most complex and high-profile defence programmes?

We're recruiting on behalf of a rapidly growing technology consultancy that delivers secure solutions across the Defence and National Security sector. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a highly respected security practice where you'll work alongside experienced consultants, influence the design of secure systems, and support critical programmes that make a real impact.

Please note: This position requires active DV clearance.

The Opportunity

As a Senior/Principal Security Architect, you'll play a key role in designing, assuring and delivering secure solutions across complex technology environments. Working closely with customers and multidisciplinary teams, you'll provide security architecture guidance throughout the entire system lifecycle, from requirements and design through to implementation and assurance.

About You

We're looking for experienced Security Architects with a strong background in secure solution design and stakeholder engagement.

You'll ideally have experience with:

• Security Architecture
• Enterprise or Technical Architecture
• Secure by Design principles
• Technical Risk Assessment
• Security Assurance
• Complex IT systems
• TOGAF, ArchiMate or similar architecture frameworks

Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, SABSA, CIISec or equivalent are highly desirable.
