Job summary

Funding Circle is seeking a Consultant Principal Salesforce Engineer to lead discovery with Salesforce teams, shaping the technical roadmap and advising on integration patterns. You will refactor legacy orgs and contribute to real-time integrations and scalable architectures.

The role involves working within an AWS-enabled environment, applying CI/CD practices, and considering Event Driven architectures. This is a contract role outside IR35 with an immediate start, based in London.

Qualifications

• Several years experience as a Salesforce Developer with Sales and Service Cloud, including Apex and LWCs.
• Salesforce Certification highly preferred.
• Experience refactoring legacy Salesforce orgs in iterative fashion.
• Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure, ideally AWS.
• Strong understanding of Software Architecture and patterns for Salesforce.
• Exposure to Event Driven architectures is a bonus.
• Experience with real-time integrations across Salesforce ecosystems.
• Familiar with CI/CD, Git, and packaging approaches.

Responsibilities

• Work on discovery with Salesforce teams to identify challenges in the Salesforce Org and SDLC.

• Advise on existing Salesforce integration patterns and SDLC improvements.
• Identify opportunities to invest in Agentic AI and Agentforce for transformational change.

The role

As a Consultant Principal Salesforce Engineer, you'll:

• Work on discovery with Salesforce teams at Funding Circle to identify challenges within the existing Salesforce Org and SDLC

• Develop an understanding of the technical roadmap for Salesforce and help to shape it

• Advise on existing Salesforce integration patterns and Salesforce SDLC, providing suggestions of how they could be improved

• Identify and implement opportunities to invest in Agentic AI and utilise Agentforce to deliver transformational change

• Examine some of the larger architectural challenges and advise on approaches to solve them iteratively

What we’re looking for

• Several years experience as a Salesforce Developer with Sales and Service Cloud including both Apex and LWCs. Preferably with Salesforce Certification

• Experience refactoring/redesigning legacy Salesforce orgs in an iterative way

• Knowledge of Cloud Infrastructure, preferably AWS

• A good understanding of Software Architecture and patterns and an understanding of how to apply that knowledge to Salesforce. Experience of Event Driven architectures would be a bonus

• Experience with Salesforce systems that are heavily integrated to other systems in real-time

• An understanding of development tooling including CI/CD, Git, and approaches to packaging

Please note this is a contract role, outside IR35, requiring an immediate or short notice start.
