Qualifications

• Masters level qualification with knowledge of rotor dynamics, turbo machinery, or electrical machine design.
• Experience in rotor-dynamic analysis and/or machine design.
• Applicable industry experience in Power Generation, Oil & Gas, Automotive, Nuclear, Marine, Defence, or Aerospace.

Responsibilities

• Lead rotor dynamic analysis tasks for system design.
• Produce verification evidence for system performance.
• Mentor and provide direction to junior engineers.

Skills

Experience in rotor-dynamic analysis

Proficiency in structural and rotor-dynamic analysis software (e.g., ANSYS, CFX)

Knowledge of Rotor Dynamics, Tribology, Gear Design

Chartered engineer or nearing professional accreditation

Education
