European Tech Recruit is partnering with a leading UK research centre to appoint a Principal Researcher for AI, ML and semiconductor research. The role shapes the strategic vision, drives breakthroughs, and leads external collaborations with academia and industry.

The position is permanent and onsite in Cambourne or London. You will mentor senior researchers, oversee bold projects, publish results, and actively represent the team in policy discussions and partnerships.

Qualificações

• PhD in Machine Learning, AI, Mathematics, Computer Science, Physics, or related field.
• Distinguished publication record at top-tier venues (NeurIPS, ICML, ICLR, ACL).
• Proven track record shaping research strategy and driving breakthroughs across multiple projects.
• Advanced proficiency in Python, C++, or similar.
• Deep expertise in optimisation, reinforcement learning, or LLMs advantageous.

We're currently partnered with a leading research centre in the UK specializing in research within the semiconductor industry. The team is looking to hire a Principal Researcher to shape the strategic vision of AI research initiatives, drive transformative breakthroughs, and represent the organisation in high-level external partnerships and collaborations.

This is a permanent opportunity based fully onsite either in Cambourne or London.
