Job summary

Athona Limited is seeking a Principal Psychologist for a part-time role based in Somerset. You will work with individuals with complex mental health needs, delivering assessments and therapy within an MDT setting.

Salary up to £49,600 per annum (FTE up to £62,000). 32 hours per week. The position includes a welcome bonus and supportive professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

• HCPC registered Clinical or Counselling Psychologist qualification.
• At least 3 years’ experience in a clinical or mental health setting.
• Training in complex therapies like Schema Therapy, DBT, or Cognitive Analytical Therapy.
• Passion for working with people with complex mental health needs.
• Ability to treat issues like self-harm, aggression, and substance abuse.

This is a part-time role where you’ll be working with individuals who have a range of complex mental health needs.
