Job summary

Optimus Plus is seeking an experienced Principal Process Engineer to join our Engineering Team in a full-time or PAYE contractor role. Flexible hybrid work with 2 days remote; offices in Aberdeen or Glasgow. Excellent salary and benefits.

You will lead process design, deliver consultancy studies, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and liaise with clients. A degree in a relevant subject and substantial oil and gas process engineering experience are required; Autodesk tools experience is

Qualifications

Significant oil and gas process engineering experience.
Experience delivering consultancy studies and engineering projects.
Strong process design and process safety knowledge.
Ability to lead and technically assure a process engineering scope.

Responsibilities

Identify the scope of work required.
Input to project plans.
Identify areas of concern during any project or study.
Produce cost-effective engineering solutions that are fit for purpose, safe and add value.
Address operational and maintenance issues in the design and liaise with colleagues for the best solution.
Exercise technical authority and autonomy in all engineering activities.
