We're seeking a dynamic and experienced planning professional to join our Local Plans team at a pivotal time. With our Local Plan nearing adoption, you will play a key role in shaping the future of Charnwood:

Responsibilities
  • Developing and implementing planning policies
  • Supporting the preparation of Supplementary Planning Documents
  • Contributing to the creation of a Borough-wide Design Code and Community Infrastructure Levy (CIL)
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in handling complex planning policy matters
  • Strong communication skills to engage with stakeholders and partner organisations
  • A degree in Town and Country Planning
  • Full membership of the RTPI
  • Full UK driving licence, as travel throughout the Borough may be required and personal transport may be used
