A leading NHS healthcare provider in Camden Town seeks an experienced pharmacy technician to join their pharmacy leadership team. The role involves providing safe and efficient pharmacy services across wards, leading a team, and managing workload. Candidates must demonstrate substantial competencies in hospital pharmacy practice and possess strong leadership skills. The position offers a structured work shift from 9am to 5.30pm, Monday to Friday.
The successful candidate will join the Evelina London pharmacy leadership team and contribute to strategies to develop and enhance service provision. You will be responsible for providing and ensuring a safe, efficient and accurate ward-based pharmacy technician service is delivered across the Evelina London wards.
Provide and ensure safe, efficient and accurate ward‑based pharmacy technician service across the Evelina London wards.
Lead a team of ward‑based pharmacy technicians, adapting and enhancing roles to reflect changing patient needs and the clinical pharmacy service.
Manage the day‑to‑day workload at ward level within the Evelina London pharmacy service.
Manage medicines optimisation projects.
Uphold and demonstrate the Trust values and deliver the best quality care for patients.
Shift Pattern: 9am‑5.30pm Monday to Friday (37.5 hours). 9am‑5pm for rostered weekends and bank holidays. Late duty as per roster 9.30am‑6pm.
