A leading nuclear engineering company is looking for a principal mechanical engineer to join the team on a long term contract basis for some of their most exciting projects in the nuclear space. This role will be perfect for a well experienced and knowledgeable principal mechanical engineer who has vast time spent in the highly regulated fields and sectors associated.

Job Role
  • Location – Bristol
  • Contract Length – 12 Months
  • Pay Rates – Up To £75 hour Inside IR35
Key Competencies
  • Understand concepts and principles, shapes, designs, developments and determines a solution to functional issues
  • A full knowledge and understanding of all health and safety matters
  • Work as the subject matters expert and mechanical engineering specialist
  • Technically manage the scope of engineering to ensure it meets project quality requirements and deadlines
  • Ensure that procedures, codes and standards are correctly identified and applied to engineering and technical activities
  • Ensure adequate review, verification and approvals are undertaken on all deliverablesEnsure you are supervising engineers and technical specialists to align with project scope
Essential Qualifications
  • Engineering degree in a relevant field with significant demonstratable experience.
  • Chartership (Desired)
  • Time spent in managing teams
  • Experience covering a wide range tasks across a range complexities.
