Job summary

Intelligent Energy is seeking a Mechanical Design Engineer to develop and document parts and assemblies for stationary power fuel cell products. You will apply DfX principles and maintain manufacturability while collaborating across a cross-functional team, delivering on time.

The role requires experience in product development, a BEng/BSc in a relevant field, and proficiency with 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred).

Qualifications

Proven product development experience.
Commercial mindset with a solutions-focused approach.
Experience with structured design processes and DfX principles.
Knowledge of 3D parametric CAD (SolidWorks preferred).
Experience delivering sub-systems or full products and technical leadership desirable.

Responsibilities

Develop and deliver designs and documentation for parts and assemblies with manufacturability in mind.
Apply DfX principles throughout the product development lifecycle.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet customer requirements.
Contribute to long-term mechanical design strategy to standardise and modularise products.
