This role involves working in a collaborative environment to develop designs that meet customer requirements while applying engineering best practices. Candidates should have a degree in a relevant discipline and experience with SolidWorks. Benefits include a pension scheme, life cover, and 25 days holiday.
This is an exciting opportunity to apply your passion for Mechanical Design to the design and development of our aerospace fuel cell products.
Working as part of a cross–functional team, you will be responsible for the on–time development and delivery of designs and documentation detailing parts and assemblies of appropriate manufacturability against a set of customer requirements.
You will ensure that engineering best practice, including DfX principles, is incorporated into the product development lifecycle. You will contribute towards the long–term mechanical design strategy to standardise, simplify and modularise our products.

You will have used a 3D parametric CAD package, SolidWorks preferred, covering modelling parts, assemblies and drafting engineering drawings. You will have knowledge of the application of FMEAs.
Experience of defining and delivering sub‑systems and/or full products and of technical leadership of a team are desirable.
This role is based on site at our Loughborough Facility.
