Job summary

A leading technology firm is looking for a Principal M365 Consultant to lead the design and delivery of enterprise Microsoft 365 solutions. This fully remote role allows applicants from across the UK. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Microsoft 365 and Modern Workplace technologies, proven experience in enterprise-scale solution delivery, and relevant Microsoft certifications. Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and delivery of Microsoft 365 solutions across large environments.
• Act as a technical authority for M365, advising clients on best practice.
• Design and implement solutions across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams.
• Own identity, security, and compliance design using Azure AD, Intune, Purview, and Defender.
• Lead technical workshops and architecture design forums.
• Support presales activities including solution design and estimations.
• Mentor and support consultants in shaping technical standards.
• Stay ahead of the Microsoft roadmap, bringing innovation into solutions.

Skills

Deep, hands-on expertise across Microsoft 365 and Modern Workplace technologies

Proven experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale M365 solutions

Strong knowledge of identity, security, compliance, and governance

Experience leading customer engagements from discovery through to delivery

Ability to translate complex business requirements into technical designs

Microsoft certifications across M365, Security, or Azure

Experience with hybrid environments and large-scale tenant migrations

Exposure to Power Platform, automation, or Copilot/M365 AI

We’re looking for a highly experienced Principal M365 Consultant to lead the design and delivery of enterprise-grade Microsoft 365 solutions. This is a senior, influential role where you’ll shape technical strategy, guide customers through complex transformations, and act as a trusted advisor across the Modern Workplace stack.

You’ll work across Microsoft 365, Azure AD, Security & Compliance, and Modern Workplace technologies – helping organisations maximise collaboration, security, and productivity through best‑in‑class Microsoft solutions.

What you’ll be doing:

• Lead the architecture and delivery of Microsoft 365 solutions across large and complex environments.

• Design and implement solutions across Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, Teams, and Viva.

• Lead technical workshops, stakeholder sessions, and architecture design forums.
• Support presales activities including solution design, estimations, and Statements of Work.
• Mentor and support consultants, helping shape technical standards and delivery excellence.
• Stay ahead of the Microsoft roadmap, bringing innovation and continuous improvement into customer solutions.
