Responsibilities include:

• Acting as a cable engineer for multidisciplinary projects.
• Delivering concept, FEED, feasibility, and detailed design projects.
• Producing or reviewing HV cable aspects for various projects.
• Participating in design reviews, hazard assessments, site visits, and project commissioning.
• Engaging with industry groups such as CIGRE and IEEE.

Minimum requirements:

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Experience in HV cable system design, manufacture, and testing.
• Knowledge of IEC standards, CIGRE policies, and technical specifications.
• Willingness to travel within the UK.
