Job summary

UNICEF UK is seeking a Principal Gifts Executive to help develop a career in high-value fundraising, stewarding major philanthropic partnerships and supporting seven-figure gifts for children worldwide.

Working alongside experienced relationship managers, you will use Salesforce and Microsoft Office to analyse prospects, tailor donor communications, and collaborate across teams to maximise impact and secure transformational gifts.

This is a great opportunity to join the UK Committee for UNICEF (UNICEF UK) forsomeone looking to develop their career in high-value fundraising within one of UNICEF UK’s most ambitious growth areas. Working alongside experienced relationship managers, you will help steward major philanthropic partnerships and contribute to securing transformational seven-figure gifts that create lasting impact for children worldwide.

The ideal candidate will be supporter-driven and mission-aligned, with the ability to build positive relationships that balance supporter needs with the best interests of children. They will be an effective communicator who can manage competing priorities, convey complex information clearly, and collaborate confidently across teams and with high-value supporters.

They will also be results-focused and resilient, using insight and learning to improve performance, adapting to challenges, and taking a proactive, solution-oriented approach. Experience in donor communications, relationship management, event delivery, and the confident use of systems such as Salesforce and Microsoft Office will be important to success in the role.
