A leading consultancy firm in the UK is seeking an experienced Principal Full Stack Engineer to lead L2/L3 support teams. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java, Python, Node.js, or C#, alongside substantial cloud architecture experience (AWS or Azure). Qualifications

• Proven ability to lead L2/L3 support teams across diverse applications.
• Experience in managed service operations.
• Proficiency in multiple programming languages and cloud platforms.

Responsibilities

• Act as the highest technical escalation point within a managed service function.
• Set and maintain engineering standards across teams.
• Lead management and resolution of complex L2/L3 incidents.
• Conduct root cause analysis and post-incident investigations.
• Own service onboarding from a technical readiness perspective.
• Participate in an on-call rota for incident response.
• Mentor and support development of engineers at all levels.
• Manage client relationships with service delivery colleagues.

Skills

Knowledge of Java, Python, Node.js, or C#

Hands-on cloud architecture experience with AWS or Azure

Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform

Understanding of ITIL practices

Experience leading engineering teams
