Qualifications

• Obtained or predicted 2:2 in a Bachelor's or Master's Engineering degree.
• Understanding of Safety and Systems Engineering.
• Experience working as part of a team and delivering tasks unsupervised.
• Agility in working practices and customer expectations.
• Self-motivated with good verbal and written communication skills.
• Practical experience as a Product Safety Engineer in maritime defense preferred.

Responsibilities

• Work as part of an Integrated Development Team to develop submarine systems.
• Ensure Product Safety tasking is completed for project milestones.
• Support Hazard Identification and Analysis studies.
• Assist with or generate safety reports.
• Ensure compliance with the project Safety Management System.
• Liaise with other Integrated Development Teams.
