A leading Defence and Aerospace company seeks a Principal Engineer - Electrical Engineering (Power) in Barrow-in-Furness. The role involves developing design solutions, managing requirements, and providing technical support across projects. Ideal candidates will have a BEng (Hons) / MEng or equivalent, significant knowledge of electrical power systems, and experience in engineering lifecycle. The position is hybrid, requiring two days on-site at Barrow and one at Filton weekly. Competitive salary and benefits are offered.
Job Title: Principal Engineer - Electrical Engineering (Power)
Location: Barrow-In-Furness (Hybrid). (Barrow - 2 days a fortnight onsite; 1 day a week onsite at Filton) depending on business needs
Salary: Up to £57,500 (Commensurate with skills and experience)

As part of the Electrical Engineering Power Team, you will be leading the development of design documents, reviewing supplier documentation, developing technical requirements and undertaking assessment of design compliance to support the development of our electrical systems. We offer relocation support packages across all Submarines roles, subject to meeting eligibility criteria.
