Job summary

eFinancialCareers seeks a Principal Engineer for the API Management Platform in the London area. You will shape architecture, design and engineer high-performance, secure solutions centered on customer outcomes.

You will collaborate with architecture, security and product teams to validate and leverage designs. You will drive automation of build, test and deployment, while promoting software engineering discipline across the business and engaging stakeholders to translate requirements into

Qualifications

Expertise in cloud architecture across AWS/GCP and cloud-native tech.
Strong understanding of cloud-native technologies incl. Kubernetes and API management.
Knowledge of Apigee Hybrid is advantageous.
Experience shaping architecture strategy and high/low-level designs.

Responsibilities

Define and oversee engineering and design solutions with end-to-end automation, resilience and security.
Collaborate with platform teams to design and engineer complex software, scripts and tools for bank platforms.
Develop architecture models and roadmaps meeting business and technical requirements.
Design, test and implement working code using Agile and DevOps practices.
